Something a bit different this time. I’m currently playing through Final Fantasy 2 on my phone (iOS8, just in case it matters) and the game would freeze after certain pieces of dialog. It’s happened to me twice so far:
- When getting Scott’s ring in Fynn, the dialog comes up and just stays there forever
- When finding the pass in a chest in Bafsk
- After staying in an inn
It seems as though this bug only happens when there is no audio (as a “success!” sound plays in all instances). To re-enable audio, swipe down the notification centre once FFII is running, then swipe it back up. You should start to hear game sounds and once you get to these points, it should allow you to pass once the success sound has played.
