Hey there! I’m Michael, a tools and infrastructure engineer at Digi.me near London, in England. I primarily work with PHP, Golang and NodeJS, but have been known to get stuck in to problems in any language.
I love sharing what I’ve learned, and have visited various usergroups and spoken at several international conferences. If you’re interested in learning more, you can take a look at the talks section
I’m a fan of engineering processes such as reproducible environments, automation and coding standards. At the moment, that means that I’m working lots with Vagrant and Ansible. I’m also interested in software architecture – currently event buses and data pipelines.
Outside of programming, I’m a (terrible) amateur photographer and enjoy running / weight lifting. After completing my first Tough Mudder in 2015 and failing to run 1000km in 2016, I’m currently training for a triathlon at the end of 2017.
